Coming back into safe harbor. it took at least 36 hours to get most of flotilla away from the gulf or deep in the gulf inland to safe harbor. now, it is going to take at least that time to get a lot of people back out and get things cranking once again. i will tell you that they haven't left the gulf empty. you still have a small flotilla of ships still out there keeping a sharp eye on the cap itself. just a few. they are monitoring that cap and soundness with seismic capability. they are also using sonar. they are also controlling a couple of robots that are observing the cap. so they are goi...

Landfall. we have had a lot worst storms, regular old storms that move on through. the oil has been the big storm. we learned with alex, which was hundreds of miles away, that it doesn't take that powerful of a storm or even one very close to the oil spill to have impact and cause problems. so that's why we are going to continue to track this thing very closely. the winds, with what's left with bonnie, for the most part, have been pulling things offshore. we are going to start to see more of that onshore push into the area. showers and thunderstorms are going to pick up a little bit this after...
