Review: Atelier Ryza 2 Shows Further Growth Ryza is back and, well, good news! If you liked her debut adventure, then you’re going to also love Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy. It does a lot of what made the original game great. We have characters who are easy to love and face realistic problems. We have lots of materials to gather and things to make. There’s also more intrigue, since there are multiple ruins to explore. It’s also a lot more active than before though, with a new progression system for recipes, which might not be exactly what you’re looking for.

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy (PS4) Review The Atelier series has been a deeply loved series for fans of the alchemy JRPG genre for many years. But it wasn’t until Atelier Ryza’s release in 2019 that we saw some record-breaking sales and it’s no surprise that a year later we would see a sequel so soon. Hyrule Warriors' performance drove an excellent quarter for Koei Tecmo, with net sales just shy of ¥44 billion ($423 million) for the three months ended December 31, 20...

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy Review: More of What You Love Gust’s Atelier series dates all the way back to 1997 and has been a relatively niche franchise since. However, 2019’s Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout became its most popular entry yet, and now it has a direct sequel. It’s a pleasure to say that Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy is a worthy entry that builds upon its predecessor. This sequel takes place three years after the events of the first game, with protagonist Ryza arriving in the new city of Ashra-am Baird. Ryza is give...
