In the Kolkata fake vaccination case, the Kolkata Police has filed an affidavit before the Calcutta High Court.
According to the police s affidavit, the statements of actress and Member of Parliament (MP) Mimi Chakraborty as well as actress Lovely Moitra and MP Shantanu Sen have been recorded. The three have also been examined under section 161 (examination of witnesses) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).
Additionally, the police have served a notice to the Serum Institute of India under section 160 of the CrPC as part of the ongoing investigation.
