The order was issued by judge Datuk Noorin Badaruddin following a review application by the Deputy Public Prosecutors’ Office after its application was rejected by the High Court deputy registrar Thursday. The remand order was issued by High Court judge Justice Noorin Badaruddin following a revision petition by the Selangor prosecution’s office. A day earlier, a High Court deputy registrar, who was sitting as a magistrate declined to grant police the remand order.
