SEVERAL local flood warnings are in place as Storm Franklin becomes the latest weather front to batter the region. 

Eight areas are set to be affected while there are also 10 flood alerts in place across Wales.

Weather conditions will be pleasant in the South and East this week with sunshine every day through until at least next week and maximum temperatures of at least 54F (12C).

"A surveyor from NRW came to the site and said it would need to be cleared but nothing has been done.
