A BRAZEN Worcester shoplifter who may lose his leg limped free despite being spotted running from the scene of the crime. Lee Brown stole hundreds of pounds of goods from FOUR different Co-ops, stole a bike and handled two more stolen bikes. The 40-year-old of Barbourne Road hobbled free at Worcester Magistrates Court on Friday. Prosecutor Shawn Williams described Brown running from the Co-op in Lichfield Avenue, Ronkswood, with shop workers unable to catch up. A PENSIONER from Worcester who is suffering from asbestosis has launched a £200,000 damages claim against his former employers who he blames for the condition he is in. Norman Hundley, aged 86, claims in a writ issued against Western Power Distribution and Western Power Distribution plc, both of Bristol, that his condition is the result of exposure to asbestos while he was working for the predecessors of those companies, Midlands Electricity Board.
