Three members of a family were shot dead by their close relatives in Lucknow's Malihabad area.

A 50-second video — CCTV footage — of the incident surfaced on social media. Police identified the deceased as Muneer Khan (54), his nephew Hanzal (17) and Hanzal’s mother Farheen (40), all residents of Mohammed Nagar area in Malihabad

"We received information that a woman -- Nishtha (23) -- was brought dead to hospital during the early hours of Thursday," he said. Nishtha, a native of Hardoi, was a third-year student at a private university here. The body of a 30-year-old man has been found at a house owned by Union Minister and BJP MP Kaushal Kishore on the outskirts of Lucknow. Vinay Srivastava died of a gunshot wound and the pistol used in the shooting belongs to the minister's son.
