Swastika-draped coffins, deported rebels, and Wexford's first ever car feature in Des Kiely's latest work
The fifth and final volume in Des Kiely’s Fascinating Wexford History series has been launched at The Book Centre and, like its predecessors, contains a collection of unusual and interesting stories from Wexford’s past. In addition to stories which may not have been known to the general public, Des also sheds new light on well-documented tales, chief among them the famous plane crash at Carnsore in June 1941.
