The project is being built near Karratha, Western Australia, as part of Woodside Energy’s AUS$16 billion Scarborough investment.
GIP has entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Woodside for 49% of Pluto Train 2.
The companies will be working together on the module assembly of Pluto LNG Project’s second LNG train.
Baker Hughes has been awarded a contract by Bechtel to supply gas turbines and centrifugal compressors to Woodside’s Pluto LNG expansion project.
