On Sunday afternoon, Harrah’s Philadelphia will present what is one of the best cards so far in 2023 North American harness racing, with three $100,000 Invitationals, action in the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes and Stallion Series for the “glamour division” three-year-old pacing colts.
Favourites won all four divisions of the $155,948 second preliminary round of the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes (PASS) for three-year-old pacing males at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania Sunday night, with Hall Of Fame trainer Linda Toscano sending out two of the PASS winners.
The Pennsylvania-sired “glamour division”, the three-year-old pacing males, were featured in their first of two consecutive Sunday stops at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania on May 14, contesting three $30,000 divisions of their Pennsylvania All-Stars event.
A trio of $13,500 contests for up-and-coming younger horses were at the top of the bill of fare at Harrah’s Philadelphia on a warm Thursday afternoon on April 20.
