Mac O’Keefe has been named a Nominee for the Tewaaraton Award given out to the Nation’s Top Male and Female Lacrosse Player. This the 2nd time in his Career that he has been named a Nominee. O’Keefe has racked up 25 Goals and 4 Assists so far this Season. He also broke the NCAA’s All-time Goal Record last week against Michigan. The Winner of the Award will be announced three weeks after the end of the Season.

His 6 Goals including the Game Winner in Overtime against Michigan helped him become the NCAA’s All-Time Leading Goal Scorer. He passed Duke’s Justin Guterding for the all time lead. Guterding needed 75 games to break the record while O’Keefe needed just 64. Up next for the Nittany Lions will be a trip to Ohio State on Saturday.
