Nigel, It sounds as if your guides are hopelessly mis-aligned. I had to resort to a little re-working to get mine to line up with the wire system, one being about 1/8th out and the other about 0.04" out in opposite directions. The guide stays were pressings and the rollers attached onto a casting welded onto these stays. Further to this mis-alignment the guides moved when clamping the stays at differing positions. Anthony McDonnell burgled the Machine Mart on Hawleys Lane in Dallam on October 9 last year and took DeWalt tools valued at £443.99 from inside. Pets at Home A PERSISTENT thief who was banned from Bolton town centre stores has been jailed for 24 weeks after going on a crime spree. Guy Morrison, of Lavender Road, Farnworth, admitted stealing goods ranging from pet treats to alcohol from stores including Pets at Home, B&M, Morrisons and Machine Mart between November last year and January. At Wigan Magistrates’ Court he also admitted assault, using threatening behaviour and breaching a criminal behaviour order. From what I saw of it, it had its limitations; but that may just be me! A friend with one was recently quoted six months delivery for spares! He obtained standard bearings locally, and we made up a new housing to carry a standard 65 x 45 x 10 lipseal instead of the, to my eyes, crude, O E sealing arrangement. The Chester Model B looks to be a very similar machine, and Warco used to sell what looked like the same machine.. Read the reviews on here.
