This is the fourth navy warship to crash in asian waters this year. nbc's janice mackey freyr has more. >> reporter: u.s. divers spent most of the day trying to access those damaged parts of the ship. the tanker hit the port side, the flooding almost immediate into the machinery and communication areas as well as the berthing area where the sailors sleep. these areas are at or below the watt left-hander so particularly vulnerable when the ship was hit by this tanker. the malaysian navy saying it had discovered remains at sea. the urgent question of course is what could cause this guided missil...
