Just in time for the start of the new school year at Western Illinois University, the McDonough County Health Department, in cooperation with WIU, will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic (including boosters) for WIU faculty, staff and students, as well as members of the general public Tuesday, Aug. 30 on the WIU-Macomb campus. Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be available at no cost, and an appointment is not needed.

Orientations for new students starting the fall semester at SRC will be held Tuesday, Aug. 16 and Wednesday, Aug. 17.

Fast Track Registration at SRC campuses will begin the week of Aug. 8 and run through the week of Aug. 22

Dallas Davis, Macomb, is the recipient of the Student Shout-Out for April at Spoon River College.

Three students from Spoon River College (two from Macomb and one from Canton) have been named to Phi Theta Kappa All-Illinois Academic Team.
