May 13, 2021 Born on this day in 1945, Richard Salwitz (pka Magic Dick), the American musician, best known for playing the harmonica for the J. Geils Band, turns 76. His harmonica playing became a major and distinctive element in the J. Geils Band's sound during their hard-rocking 1970s heyday.
