Water Main Break – 2pm, 27th July A trunk main has broken on Clyde Street, crews are out on site now assessing the break in order to begin repairs. A high number of properties will be affected by this break, as this main feeds areas within Clyde Street, Fitzroy Street area, Marys Mount, Crestwood. Staff will back feed from other areas where they can to avoid pressure loss. Staff may need to close Clyde Street, we will advise further detail on this when a decision is made. It is likely that some areas will be without water for a significant amount of time. We will keep you updated.
