Nairobi Rail Commuters Get Boost as Six More DMU Trains Set To Arrive in Coming Weeks The Nairobi Commuter Rail service has been handed a boost with the planned arrival of six more Diesel Multiple-Units (DMUs). Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC) says the additional commuter trains are expected in the country by the end of this month. The trains will increase the frequency of trains plying the different routes across the city. The 6 DMUs are part of 11 DMUs acquired from Majorca State in Spain at a cost of Sh1.15. Five of the DMUs have been in operation since November of last year.
