Senate Majority Floor Leader Damon Thayer announced on Wednesday that he will not be seeking re-election for Kentucky's 17th Senate District.
Sen. Damon Thayer, Majority Leader of the Kentucky Senate and an advocate for the horse industry in Frankfort, will not seek reelection in 2024.
Thayer, an outspoken critic of Gov. Andy Beshear, has served in the Kentucky Senate for 21 years.
