According to MFB, around 2:55 p.m. excessive fumes of smoke were noticed behind Marina Enclave in Malad West when the mangroves and rubber caught fire. A fire brigade was deployed at the spot and the fire was doused at 3:15 p.m. Incidents of similar fire cases have been reported in the area before.
