The hamlet of Enterprise, N.W.T., is in some political turmoil after several of the hamlet's councillors resigned, seemingly unwilling to work with the newly-elected mayor.
Fifty-four of 64 eligible voters in Enterprise cast ballots Tuesday to elect a new hamlet council. Sandra McMaster won the mayor's seat with 29 votes to incumbent Michael St. Amour's 25 votes.
While many Enterprise residents have been displaced from the Northwest Territories community for months, they will still be able to vote in the hamlet’s upcoming election.
