Second suspect arrested for teen's shooting death
Columbia Daily Tribune A second suspect was arrested Tuesday in connection to the shooting death of Jakob Cole, 19, of Columbia. Malik D. Townsend, 22, of Columbia, was arrested Tuesday by the Boone County Sheriff's Office and charged with first-degree murder. This follows the March 4 arrest of Tyrese O. Perkins, 19, also of Columbia, also for first-degree murder. Townsend is being held without bond at the Boone County Jail.
