January 27, 2021 Hope Haven Men’s Shelter on Wellington Street West in Chatham. It has been a roller coaster ride for the folks that run Chatham’s Hope Haven and their clients. But things have really turned around in less than a year. The facility was forced to shut down for over a month because of the pandemic and all the issues associated with it as far as safety protocols. General Manager Loree Bailey says eventually they were able to get back to three days a week, but now thanks to the United Way, and then Municipality, they are open every day.
