Enercon orders emission-free blade lifters
The RBC-D-Green-Line rotor blade lifters are battery-operated with a redundant double drive system. They automatically adjust and balance themselves to the respective blades from 45 metres to 110 metres in length. The first lifter is to be delivered by the end of March, then each additional one will follow every month. Ematec said currently 17 of the lifters are in use worldwide, with Nordex and Siemens Gamesa among the companies utilising the technology.
