MANILA - The ongoing upgrading of San Miguel District Hospital in San Miguel, Bulacan is expected to improve the delivery of quality medical and health care services for the Bulakenos. Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan said in a statement on Sunday that the redevelopment project under two phases will enable the facility to be more responsive to the growing health care needs of residents from the eastern part of Bulacan. Based on a report submitted by DPWH-Region 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino, the DPWH Bulacan Second District Engineering Office (DEO) is currently in its second phase of implementing the expansion and improvement of the district hospital that sits on an 11,867-square meter property located along Daang Maharlika in Barangay Old Sta.
