thank you. everyone is back with me. is this a sign that democrat, even vulnerable ones are getting in line and we don t know the full count and there could be more defections and you have people saying i am with the democrats, not him. it tells you a lot about the politics and manu had it exactly right that a lot of democrats who were the last ones to come out to open the impeachment inquiry made their decision based on national security and the national security concerns. so it is very difficult now after hearing all of this testimony which exacerbates the national security questions for them to say, no, i no longer have those concerns. i give the white house credit for spinning a good story about how bad this is for democrats. these democrats know what s good for them. i think they know what s good for the country. i think the politics and the risk is way overblown to them and i think you will see the ....

Push that country to open up investigations into the president s political rivals. and after that is approved on a party line basis, that abuse of power impeachment article then, the second article of impeachment, dealing with obstruction of congress, alleging that the president sought to undercut and abuse his office in not cooperating with the impeachment inquiry. so that obstruction of congress article will be approved on party line basis as well. and that will set the stage for that historic vote next week, which we expect at the moment to be on wednesday, in which the house will ultimately approve those two articles of impeachment. also on a party line basis, to make the president the third in history to get impeached by the house. so just in a matter of moments, wolf, the republicans can only do so much to delay things. expect that vote to happen probably this morning, ultimately sending that to the full chamber to impeach this president, wolf. manu,we we ll get back to yo. we ....

Manu, what should we expect, just minutes from now? expect republicans to express their outrage about the proceedings that occurred yesterday, in which the democrats abruptly adjourned that hearing to push the votes into this morning, because the democrats themselves were angry at the republicans handling of jed yesterday s session. they believe that republicans were intentionally seeking to delay these historic votes until overnight. so jerry nadler said, we re going to push this until the morning and did not give republicans advanced notice and that prompted the outrage we heard from republicans last night and through this morning. but, there s only so much that the republicans can do in this open session because essentially all the amendments have been voted on. they re moving to the final votes. expect some procedural objections from republicans to make that could delay some of the proceedings, but ultimately, the votes are going to happen. it s going to happen like this. first, ....

He s not going to be here. they read his statement last night. there s jerry nadler, the chairman of the committee getting ready to bring down the gavel and open this session. jeffrey toobin is with us as well. do we anticipate as part of this process we will actually read the two articles of impeachment before the committee members? am i allowed to say i don t know. you aren t allowed to say that. i i don t know. let me ask manu. maybe he knows. manu, you still there? yeah, i am. will nadler read the two articles of impeachment? they re 10, 12 pages. he can. that is something within his rights. they can also decide to waive the reading of those amendments to those articles in order to speed the proceedings. we expect at least him to read some of these aloud. we ll see if he reads the entire text of this. that s how they ll probably play out today. the question the democrats have been told to clear their ....
