HOUSTON — A nurse working at a healthcare facility in Harris County who was attacked and beaten by a patient is claiming his former employer failed to protect its workers. Murrey Burnside filed a complaint April 19 in Harris County District Court against Res-Care Inc., doing business as BrightSpring Health Services, BrightSpring Health Services and John Doe alleging negligence.
