Magilton concerned by Dundalk's lack of cutting edge

Many Dundalk fans will be gravely concerned by the listless display their side put in during Friday night's SSE Airtricity League Premier Division defeat to Sligo Rovers at Oriel Park, but sporting director Jim Magilton attributed much of the blame to a lack of prowess in front of goal.
Jordan Gibson's fourth goal of the season saw 10-man Sligo, who lost Garry Buckley to a second bookable offence early in the second half, inflict a fourth loss of the season on the Lilywhites in a 1-0 defeat.
However, the home side failed to capitalise on their numerical advantage after Buckley's dismissal, displaying a glaring lack of creativity over the course of the evening. Magilton was more sympathetic in his analysis.
