Like this morning. in fact overnight just about a dozen people decided to spend the night here instead of using their cushy sleeping bags, they had to sit up straight on these marble benches. there is no sleeping allowed. they can not lay down but can fall asleep standing up what i'm told or at least sitting up. this place has been home for nearly two months for many of these people. they spent the night talking, trying to stay awake, occasionally chanting we are the 99%. a reduced police presence here though as well with about 30 cops keeping watch. people are having their morning breakfast. ...
