Samsung is rolling out an update to fix the Galaxy S22's throttling – Phandroid
Over the past week or so, Samsung has been in hot water as it was discovered the company implemented a tool that essentially throttled the performance of thousands of apps. The tool in question is called the Game Optimization Service (GOS), but is not user-accessible and currently, there is no way for users to turn this feature on or off. In response, Geekbench ended up de-listing several of Samsung's phones due to "benchmark manipulation".
