A Charlie s Car Wash is coming to Topeka but its capital city facility will be different from the company s other 10 locations. A spokesperson for the Salina-based car wash chain confirmed Charlie s Car Wash has signed a long-term lease and is building a new facility in the empty lot near the corner of S.W. Huntoon Street and Wanamaker Road. Marcia Stephenson, marketing director for Charlie s Car Wash, said it will be the chain s 11th location in the region, but it will be the first to feature a two-tunnel experience, she said.
