Heavy Snowfall Expected Through Monday Night

A winter storm warning from the weather service at Chicago remains in effect through 7 p.m. EST Sunday for these Indiana counties: Benton, Jasper, Lake, Newton and Porter. Additional snow accumulation of 1-3 inches are expected along with winds gusting to 30 mph. Total snow accumulations from the storm are expected to total 7-12 inches. 2 p.m. update Storm warnings and advisories for central Indiana have been lifted early.
