24-year-old Marcus Chenier of Opelousas and 23-year-old Jevon Figaro of Lafayette has been arrested concerning the murder of Kelly Guidry of Opelousas. In a press release, Opelousas PD spokesman says Kelly Guidry of Opelousas was shot multiple times near the intersection of N. Market St. and Cheney St. on January 23. Authorities continue to investigate after Figaro and Chenier were each arrested after several months of investigation.
