Pop-up event to honor Ocala's present and past Black business owners
At least a dozen rising young Black business operators will display their products and services – and pay tribute to some of Ocala's earlier West Ocala business leaders – at a pop-up event on Saturday. Organizing the event is LaQuanitia Webb, 29, who operates an Italian Ice and dessert food trailer called Twizted Sipz & Treatz. Webb previously organized a Juneteeth celebration to benefit the community.
