Maria Celeste Cordeiro of S. Empress Ave passed away quietly and peacefully on May 31st with family by her side. Maria was born on March 9, 1932 in Sao Miguel Azores Portugal to the parents of Jose and Adelaide (birth mother) upon Adelaide passing Jose then married Maria Santa who then raised Maria, her sister Salome and brother Valdomiro. Maria met her love and future husband Jorge Cordeiro and went on to wed May 7, 1953. Jorge immigrated to Canada in search of a better life for his family and Maria soon followed with their two children Lazaro and Joseph.
