A JOBLESS Isle of Wight man who admitted drink-driving on the day of his trial last month, was banned from driving for three years. Mark Derek Alston, who had already admitted to possessing cannabis and driving his elderly mother's car without a licence and insurance, in St John's Road, Ryde, on the afternoon of September 6 last year, had initially denied drink driving.
