Feral horses to be 're-homed' to control population
Photograph By Vivian Evans A pilot project will try to rein in a growing population of feral horses between Ashcroft and Logan Lake, but a cull of the herds is out of the question, a Highland Valley mine spokesman said Thursday. The company is working with the SPCA, First Nations and the provincial government to capture and "re-home" the horses, Mark Freberg said.
