Cargill Inc. is purchasing from American Crystal Sugar Co. its half interest in the ProGold LLC corn fructose plant at Wahpeton, North Dakota, that it has leased since 1995. Golden Growers, a corn cooperative based in West Fargo, will be a 50-50 partner for the plant that initially was built for about $250 million.
