Details in the shooting at a rural pennsylvania town meeting. the suspect s father says his son had been thinking abut killing town officials for some time. stemmed from a long running dispute over efforts by the town to condemn the property. aditi roy has the report. reporter: this is the man police say shattered the peace in a small pennsylvania town. he had been talking about this. we have been trying to talk him out of it. he just told me, he said, dad, my life is over. i m not going to live in a tent another winter in my life. reporter: state police say 59-year-old rockne newell walked up to the municipal building monday night armed with a rifle and started shooting. it was a horrible scene. something you never want to witness. reporter: police say newell involved in an 18 year fight with the township over his property, killed three people. when newell allegedly went back to his car to grab a different gun. bernard cosin seen at the scene and mark kresh sprang into act ....
