Mayor of Pekin/State Rep running for House District which now includes Knox County
The Mayor of Pekin and current Illinois State Rep. Mark Luft announced Wednesday that he will run for the newly redrawn 93rd district. The redrawn 93rd District now includes Oneida, Wataga, Woodhull, Kewanee, Galva, Elmwood, and Pekin. Republican Luft is an Army veteran and lifelong Pekin resident who says he has a history of voting to protect 2nd amendment rights and the "lives of the unborn."
