The takeover of AM100 dealer group Lookers by Canada's Alpha Auto Group, through its UK entity Global Auto Holdings, has marked the start of a new chapter for the UK's third largest motor retailer.
Lookers said on Monday that it has agreed to be bought by Toronto-based car dealership Alpha Auto Group in a £465.4m cash deal.
