Mark Rivera, 50, of Winfield, was sentenced this week after he was found guilty by a jury in December 2022, according to a news release from the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office.
He was sentenced to at least 11.7 years in the sexual abuse of a 9-year-old child who attended his church.
