The ordinance is in place until April 30 unless the council takes action at its next meeting on April 27. The mask mandate was first adopted in July and has been extended several times. Voters will choose Tuesday between Barbara Young and Jessica Martinez-Brooks in Ward 3. The winner will be the first woman to represent the southwest-side ward.
