ASX to rise; US bond yields retreat

The S&P/ASX 200 Index soared 116.3 points, or 1.7 per cent, to 6789.6. Commonwealth Bank advanced 3.1 per cent to $84.11, CSL added 2.9 per cent to $270.28 and BHP Group firmed 2 per cent to $50.09.
