Olympic equestrian champion Sir Mark Todd has been given a interim suspension by the British Horseracing Authority after footage emerged of him striking a horse with a branch.
Mark Todd is seen repeatedly striking a horse that was refusing to jump into the water in a video that was shared on social media and prompted an investigation.
The former Olympian turned trainer was slapped with the temporary ban by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) until an investigation is done.
