discrimination1600 CHARLESTON — A Kanawha County woman is suing Joe Holland Chevrolet alleging she was wrongfully terminated from her employment because she is a woman. Nancy Beth Kogoy was employed by Joe Holland Chevrolet for approximately 32 years until she was fired on April 22, 2020, according to a complaint filed in Kanawha Circuit Court. She says she was fired after she testified in a deposition regarding a gender and age discrimination case against the plaintiff. Kogoy claims her job duties were then taken over by a male employee.
