St. Mary’s hospital renovation, expansion project on track for completion in fall 2021

SAGINAW, MI Ascension St. Mary’s hospital in Saginaw is on track to complete its ongoing $17.6 million renovation and expansion project in fall 2021.
“The new entrance to the Emergency Care Center is on track to open at Ascension St. Mary’s in early January. This will serve as the new point of entry for all patients,” Bergman said in mid-December. “The new ambulance entrance and bays will be ready for use as well.”
Bergman said the first phase of construction required the relocation of St. Mary’s dialysis unit from the emergency department area, and those services are now provided in a dedicated dialysis area. After that, phase two included exterior renovation plans and the new additions. ....
