Dancers from Central Visual and Performing Arts High School return to the stage for the first time since the shooting that killed two of their own in a performance called "In our hearts."
On Monday, students danced across the stage at the magnet high school to remember the people they lost in the October mass shooting and to celebrate the ways they continue to heal.
About 600 students, parents, teachers and school officials turned out for the dance performance.
In October, a deadly school shooting occurred at Central Visual and Performing Arts High School (CVPA) in St. Louis City. Student Alexzandria Bell and teacher Jean Kuczka, were killed. Seven others were injured. Students from the school gathered at the Capitol in Jefferson City to speak with legislators about gun violence.
