On August 16, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan participated in the urgent meeting of the UN Security Council, which was convened at the request of Armenia, on the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh resulting from the blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan and the total  siege of Nagorno-Karabakh.
