Market Day rescheduled for May 8 in Old Alabama Town After heavy storms forced a delay on Market Day in Old Alabama Town, it s been rescheduled for May 8.   With a blend of the past and present, including vendors, garden accents, children’s crafts, music, food and more, it ll take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests will enter at Lucas Tavern, 310 North Hull St. Admission is $10 for adults. Children are free. “This is part of our new reemergence,” said Ella Martin, special events coordinator for Landmarks Foundation/Old Alabama Town. “We did it in November during COVID. We had people show up, because they just wanted to be outside. We’re hoping to continue this, and do it on a once every quarter basis.”
