The Zamfara State House of Assembly has reportedly impeached its Speaker, Bilyaminu Moriki, over the alarming insecurity in the state and appointed Bashar Gummi, as the pro-tempo speaker.   The impeachment was sequel to a motion moved by a member of the House representing Maru Constituency, Nasiru Abdullahi, and endorsed by 18 out of the 24 House members.
